No clear winner. What do you ask a production studio to make next? A useful next brief names the deliverable, including the possibility that production should wait.
A hypothetical fox and bridge example makes that handoff concrete. The fox reaches safety and opens a chest. A says “Rescue the fox.” C says “Reach the treasure.” The written briefs keep the scene, navy panel, edit and typography the same.
The buyer is considering a follow up around C’s treasure promise. The media team owns the evidence, criteria and decision. KSTUDIO can take over the agreed production work.
Three possible requests
If the buyer’s criteria support C, the request could be a follow up storyboard around reaching the chest. KSTUDIO’s scoped task would preserve the bridge mechanic and treasure promise while developing one agreed execution change. The buyer would receive that storyboard for review.
If the criteria challenge C, the treasure expansion stops. The request could become a rescue led follow up storyboard, with A as the reference and the next execution change named.
If the evidence is inconclusive, the expansion waits. The media team identifies what remains unresolved. A specific asset mismatch could be handed to KSTUDIO as a bounded correction: one named asset, one identified issue, and a corrected version returned with the intended comparison preserved.
If no production issue is identified, there may be no new asset to commission yet. A hold can be the agreed production decision.
The five field handoff
Pending choice: which direction might be developed next?
Buyer’s evidence and criteria: who decides, from which source, under what comparison and sufficiency rules?
If supported: which output, reference and change?
If challenged: what stops, and which output replaces it?
If inconclusive: which clarification, correction or hold?
For the example, an inconclusive entry might read: “Hold the treasure expansion. Media team to resolve comparability. If it identifies a mismatched asset, scope only that correction.”
The evidence field is deliberately unfilled here, so none of the branches is selected. These exact headlines also differ in wording and length; the worksheet does not isolate a universal effect of rescue or reward.
The buyer retains the campaign decision. The studio receives a defined job and can scope its output: a storyboard, a corrected asset or a hold.
Fill in the inconclusive branch before commissioning the next batch.
